What does the P0A80 code mean?
The P0A80 code is Toyota's way of telling you that your hybrid battery pack is no longer performing within acceptable parameters. In Phoenix's extreme heat, this code appears much earlier than in cooler climates.
Common Symptoms
- Red Triangle of Death on dashboard
- Reduced fuel economy (20-40% drop)
- Constant loud cooling fan
- Limp mode / reduced power
